National Teen Driver Safety Week: Continued Parental Involvement Critical
Now in its 14th year, National Teen Driver Safety Week (October 17-23) is dedicated to raising awareness and seeking solutions to prevent teen injuries and deaths on our roads.
To commemorate National Teen Driver Safety Week, Ford Driving Skills for Life and the Governors Highway Safety Association continue to focus on keeping the youngest and most inexperienced drivers safe by reinforcing the important role of parents in the learning to drive process.
We would like to encourage parents to use this week as an opportunity to change behaviors and set goals. Below are recommendations, all of which will help parents reach the most important goal of all -- reduce teen crashes.
